National Poetry Month Day 16

“Wisdom Revealed”

There is a question we face in light
of culture’s changing pace: who can we turn
to lead us boldly on? For He will burn
the paths we’ve crossed, infernos burning bright.
Thus who is left to guide us on, whose hearts
and minds seek love and peace to lead us home?
And who can see beyond their rage to start
us down the path to saved by grace alone?

In God’s great wisdom he revealed the hope
that He oppressed since time began. His grace
that saves was never gone for She was here
with them. In darkness He would lead and grope;
He’d run around like blind men sprint a race.
But She is wise to lead us over there.
