Knowing Part 1

Adam stands at a crossroads to start his
quest to understand that vexing question,
which philosophers and historians
and scientists battles over like beasts
filled with gamma-fueled rage and pride in their
own path to Adam’s destination: how
does a person know what is true or not?

Our hero, our man, our Adam, beholds
his journey to knowing truth like
that room in the house that has no purpose:
unpainted, no furnishings, no people,
only blank walls longing for more; like the
mountains bare and devoid winter’s white wash.
He takes one step and the journey towards
the bastion of knowing truth begins.
