“Wages”
“The wages of the righteous is life.”
The Bible says if a person is just,
faithful, and loving they will have life.
Am I not righteous? Where is my wage?
My wallet is empty. The righteous do not
earn life but are shamed and rejected,
while the wicked dine upon their misery.
The wages of the righteous are vile lies.
